Just wondering what would be the good place to report some broken screenshots on official PortableApps? I have a list of probably all broken ones among all 300+ applications. 15:44:23 wernight: I would post on the forums 15:44:38 Thanks, will do 15:44:59 just mainly John the project lead is also the site maintainer, isn't here at the moment 15:52:04 Done (http://portableapps.com/node/38335) he can see it when he has time if he wishes to. 15:53:03 *** rom12three has quit (Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.90.1 [SeaMonkey 2.21/20130916112225]) 15:55:08 See ya 15:59:31 *** wernight has quit (Ping timeout: 250 seconds) 17:24:08 *** AlleyKat (~Miranda@188-183-213-253-dynamic.dk.customer.tdc.net) has joined #portableapps 17:33:00 *** RickZilla (~scheibner@198.237.66.2) has joined #portableapps 17:40:55 *** rainroom69 (~RainrooM@d54C35985.access.telenet.be) has joined #portableapps 17:48:35 Asked this question in forums, looking elsewhere now: Thunderbird crashes when trying to install .xpi file. It freezes up and says there's an error running a script. I've replicated this on two different Win7 machines, trying a fresh install both times. I've even tried moving from usb drive to desktop, and I still get the error when trying to install it there. I'm starting to think this is a bug rather than something I'm doing wrong. 17:52:01 RickZilla: it might be the xpi 17:52:04 what are you trying to install? 17:52:29 Two different extensions: Lightning and Google Provider. Both of them hang up. 17:52:44 make sure you're using the right versions for the latest TBird 17:52:47 But both work fine on fresh install of desktop version 17:52:48 lightning is part of thunderbird 17:52:50 has been for a while 17:53:01 I've got both running in mine 17:53:10 latest version? 17:53:13 24 17:53:21 yep 17:53:23 provider .25 17:53:25 and Tbird 2.6 17:53:28 erm 17:53:30 lightning 17:54:33 Did not know that Lightning was a part of TBird now, I've always installed it separately. I don't suppose Google Provider comes with it, so I can sync my Google Calendar? 17:58:02 you have to install provider separately, then you can. 17:59:51 *** rainroom69 has quit (Read error: Connection reset by peer) 18:00:14 K...thanks for the help. Hopefully I won't get this same error 18:09:04 So Lightning is supposed to come with PA Thunderbird 24 out of the box? I have a fresh install, and I'm not seeing the calendar anywhere. 18:19:07 *** Bry8Star{T2 has quit (Remote host closed the connection) 18:21:26 *** Bry8Star{T2 (~Bry8Star-@gateway/tor-sasl/bry8star-2) has joined #portableapps 18:31:17 Gizmokid2005: I'm not seeing where Lightning (or any calendar) is a part of PA TBird 24 18:57:04 *** RickZilla has quit (Quit: Outa here) 20:54:56 *** rom12three (~rom12thre@dslb-178-009-123-036.pools.arcor-ip.net) has joined #portableapps 21:05:29 *** Bry8Star{T2 has quit (Ping timeout: 240 seconds) 21:12:14 *** Bry8Star{T2 (~Bry8Star-@gateway/tor-sasl/bry8star-2) has joined #portableapps 21:57:55 *** rom12three has quit (Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.90.1 [SeaMonkey 2.21/20130916112225]) 22:23:29 *** zooyork (~zoo@cpe-24-55-6-111.austin.res.rr.com) has joined #portableapps 22:47:33 *** Venusaur has quit (Quit: Leaving) 23:37:25 *** Venusaur (~wdwrf@wikipedia/Antonio-Lopez) has joined #portableapps
