The Firefox itself is Unicode aware and functions as I expected. But installer itself has had some problems, which is usual for non Unicode aware programs. So I saw many question points instead of Russian characters in it. 11:07:52 This is to do with the fact that we are still supporting Windows 98 where possible. 11:07:55 The root of this behaviour is probably this: installer uses some ANSI and not a Unicode functions for displaying of the strings. This way it’s also Win9x compatible, but on the Win2k and above one see, what I have seen. The solution is probably a small fork inside, which tells installer to use ANSI functions on Win9x and Unicode ones elsewhere.
