As soon as i go offline it looks like FF is automatically updated (or the wrong executable is launched). Was able to start FF38 once then it defaults to newest? 14:46:49 Might be a FF issues - guess you where just lucky to be bothered first. 14:50:54 Figured it out: If i run FF38 from PA when another FF is running the launch is hijacked by the system FF. Close all FF and launch from PA -> works. 14:53:47 Yes topmot 14:54:04 If there's an existing firefox process running, launching firefox will still be from the same installation 14:54:31 IE - if you launch PA FF and then click the system shortcut for system firefox, it'll just be another instance of PA's FF. 14:54:34 And vice-versa 14:56:11 Gizmokid2005 roger! 16:06:07 *** topmot has quit (Quit: Leaving) 23:45:50 *** serge (b8af0ff1@gateway/web/freenode/ip.184.175.15.241) has joined #portableapps 23:45:54 hi there 23:46:16 it says on your site that portableapps is open source, but i cannot find the source anywhere 23:46:41 specifically, i'm interested in distributing a portable fork of firefox (with some modifications) 23:47:16 and i'd like to know how you guys build it, and whether it's doable for mac/linux, rather than just windows.
