Instead of moving it, I decided to put a shortcut to the Start Portable Apps on my desktop, then decided to try the "Pin to Start Menu" option, and that accomplishes my original goal! Yay!! You rock!! Thank you so much. Just FINDING the stupid program files was a huge snag for me.

I followed the instructions at the PA page for Thunderbird, but the error message I get is something like gpg.exe not found, even though I have downloaded the windows version of GnuPG as directed. Is this a known issue?
