03:52:43 <Kiriko> yes how can we help you
03:54:19 <mrmcpowned> :D
03:54:52 <pa_9142> I have a few questions, so bear with me.
03:55:02 <Kiriko> pa_9142: Ok np :)
03:55:16 *** sar3th|away is now known as sar3th
03:55:29 <pa_9142> First, Once everything is set up on my flash drive, and all the apps are on it, could I simply copy and paste it all to a new drive, or how would that work?
03:56:14 <mrmcpowned> I think you can
03:56:19 <mrmcpowned> Since there all just files
03:56:29 <mrmcpowned> No actual config except for the ini files
03:56:31 <Kiriko> yes you can do that
03:56:40 <mrmcpowned> But then again, those are configured portabally
03:56:43 <mrmcpowned> :D
03:57:25 <Kiriko> just keep in mind that if you have a lot of files that need to be moved from one portable drive to the other it will take some time
03:58:39 <mrmcpowned> naturally :P
03:59:17 <pa_9142> Good. Now, is there any way I can organize the apps into folders, such as [Games] [Development] etc. (as apposed to the long list)
03:59:40 <Kiriko> not at the moment
03:59:49 <Kiriko> that will be avelable soon
04:00:14 <Kiriko> for now you can mark them as Faorite
04:01:02 <pa_9142> Okay, thats fine.
04:01:32 <pa_9142> Battle for Wesnoth Portable, as well as 2 other games, have been giving me an error.
04:01:45 <pa_9142> "Installer integrity check has failed.
04:01:57 <pa_9142> Is there any solution to this?
04:03:12 <Kiriko> try and download a new copy
04:03:42 <pa_9142> I have already done that. So far, it fixed one of them, but I am still getting the error for some.
04:04:50 <Kiriko> what are the other apps that you are having problems with
04:05:41 <pa_9142> Right now, "Battle for Wesnoth Portable". The other ones I am currently redownloading. They are all games, so it is not a big deal if there is no solution.
04:06:27 <Kiriko> ok we need to know if what they are, so we can fix them
04:07:09 <mrmcpowned> Any feedback is good feedback :D

04:11:24 <mrmcpowned> this*
04:11:42 <pa_9142> Last night. Re downloaded them. And it happened again, just now.
04:13:38 <mrmcpowned> Ok
04:13:44 <mrmcpowned> so this happens after installing?
04:13:44 <Kiriko> ok cleare your download cash and try again, if it still happend make apost here http://portableapps.com/forums/support/other_apps
04:13:50 <mrmcpowned> Of while installing?
04:14:31 <Kiriko> or*
04:15:55 <mrmcpowned> Yeah, lol
04:16:09 <pa_9142> It happens like this: I download the app from portableapps.com. The .paf file successfully downloads into my download folder. Opening the PortableApps application and selecting "Install A New App", I select said app, and click run. The error then pops up.
04:16:49 <Kiriko> ok are you using the beta platform?
04:18:32 <pa_9142> Yes. I installed the Suite Standard download, then the beta...
04:18:57 <Kiriko> ok try installing the apps manualy and see if that works
04:19:25 <pa_9142> Please forgive me for asking, but how?
04:21:38 <Kiriko> it works the same way as anyt other application that you try to install, simply dobble click the app and it will guid you trough the setup
04:23:06 <pa_9142> FreeMat Portable just gave me the same error
04:23:35 <pa_9142> And I just tried the manual install. Same thing
04:25:01 <Kiriko> that is odd :\
04:25:25 <pa_9142> Yeah, should I post this on the forum with a screenshot of the error?
04:25:59 <Kiriko> give me a min to see if i get the same thing
04:29:23 <Kiriko> ok i just did both manual install and i also used the platform as well and they both work.
04:29:36 <Kiriko> this means that you are having a local problem

04:30:20 <Kiriko> hey John
04:30:25 <JohnTHaller> hola
04:30:28 <Kiriko> we need some help here
04:30:40 <JohnTHaller> what's up
04:30:42 <Kiriko> please read log
04:31:28 <Kiriko> from 22:52 till noe
04:31:32 <Kiriko> now*
04:31:59 <JohnTHaller> That error means that either (1) the installer did not download completely, (2) the download is corrupt on one of our mirrors or (3) it was infected with something after being downloaded.
04:32:18 <JohnTHaller> The installer checks itself to see if it was altered. If it was, it will refuse to run and display that error.
04:32:44 <Kiriko> ok downloaded and installed the Freemat and it works perfectly
04:32:55 <pa_9142> So it is something on my end.
04:33:05 <pa_9142> Every other app has been working and installing just fine
04:33:10 <JohnTHaller> The user may need to double-check which mirror it is downloading from. It'll say on the download page.
04:33:12 <pa_9142> It is just the 4 I mentioned earlier.
04:33:49 <JohnTHaller> And be sure and clear your browser's cache. Otherwise it may not actually be downloading a new copy
04:34:09 <mrmcpowned> Ohai JohnTHaller
04:34:12 <JohnTHaller> Which browser did you use again?
04:34:34 <pa_9142> Google Chrome (installed on Windows 7, not the portable app version)
04:35:04 *** mrmcpowned is now known as SH-Chris
04:35:08 <JohnTHaller> Ok, lemme see if I can figure out Chrome's download history location (I use FF myself)

04:35:48 <JohnTHaller> Ok, click the wrench icon and select downloads
04:36:06 <pa_9142> Done.
04:36:06 <mrmcpowned> JohnTHaller: Its teh same as IE's i believe
04:36:14 <JohnTHaller> one of them that gave you trouble, let me know what appears as the server name. It'll be something like voxel.dl.sourceforge....
04:36:15 <mrmcpowned> the*
04:36:29 <JohnTHaller> mrmcpowned: No, it is not. IE is totally different
04:36:33 <mrmcpowned> AH
04:36:35 <mrmcpowned> Ah*
04:36:49 <mrmcpowned> Its usually in the local folder tho
04:36:49 <JohnTHaller> pa_9142: what server did it download from?
04:36:53 <pa_9142> This?
04:36:54 <pa_9142> http://iweb.dl.sourceforge.net/project/portableapps/FreeMat%20Portable/FreeMat%2
04:36:57 <JohnTHaller> mrmcpowned: Please hold, support is ongoing
04:36:59 <JohnTHaller> pa_9142: yes
04:37:45 <pa_9142> Should I try downloading it using FireFox? Would that make any difference?
04:38:21 <mrmcpowned> pa_9142: Well, you could try using IE
04:38:23 <JohnTHaller> Ok, just downloaded it from iWeb and the download is just fine. So it is not corrupt on the server
04:38:25 <mrmcpowned> If that doesnt help
04:38:31 <mrmcpowned> It's one of the other two problems
04:38:49 <JohnTHaller> So it is a problem either on your end (infection) or the download was incomplete. How big was the file?
04:39:26 <pa_9142> FreeMat - 7.60 MB
04:39:44 <JohnTHaller> Yeah, that should be 15.bMB
04:39:47 <JohnTHaller> 15.6
04:40:24 <JohnTHaller> So you didn't get the whole download. Somehow it was cutoff. But the file is fine on that download mirror. Did you already try clearing your cache and download history in Chrome and try again?
04:40:49 <pa_9142> Hmm, I had this problem with another app, redownloaded it, and that seemed to work. But these seem to be consistent. Let me completely clear it and try again.
04:42:24 <pa_9142> it is saying X.X/15.3 MB, XX mins left
04:42:32 <JohnTHaller> That's right
04:43:14 <pa_9142> Alright, well it is going, please be patient with me. 14 mins left...
04:43:42 <JohnTHaller> Take your time. Someone here will be around when it is done. I'm gonna go back to finishing today's app while you wait :)
04:44:04 <pa_9142> Let me ask another question for the moment (oh my, it went up to 22 mins.. and increasing)
04:44:29 <pa_9142> This one, I am sure someone else on here can answer,
04:44:39 <Kiriko> cool can't wait to see what the new one is!
04:44:43 <JohnTHaller> Here's why: http://xkcd.com/612/
04:45:23 <pa_9142> Haha
04:45:28 <Kiriko> lol
04:46:01 <mrmcpowned> lol
04:46:22 <pa_9142> I have a question about a few apps. One of them is XAMPP (the others are all similar to the question). There are two downloads.. what is the difference and which one should be downloaded?
04:47:23 <JohnTHaller> XAMPP is not a PA.c Format app and you install it to the root of your drive. There are two versions, regular and lite... or were it may just be regular now. Then there is the XAMPP launcher which you can install into the PA.c Platform that will link to it for easy access
04:48:53 <pa_9142> That helps. Thanks.
04:49:18 <Kiriko> and i know that you are also talking about NSIS, NSIS has to versions one is UNICODE and the other ANSI
04:49:36 <pa_9142> Yes, I was just about to talk about that one.
04:50:24 <pa_9142> I suppose UNICODE would be the one I would want
04:51:11 <Kiriko> yes
04:51:51 <Kiriko> the UNICODE version alouse you to use any sort of characters with symbols
04:51:57 <pa_9142> Oh... my... goodness... 1 hour left. That's awesome. I stopped every other download.
04:52:48 <JohnTHaller> We only work with Unicode in our new PA.c Launcher and the PA.c Installer now.
04:52:51 <JohnTHaller> If that helps
04:53:25 <pa_9142> It does. Thanks Kiriko and John
04:53:55 <Kiriko> you are welcome :)
04:56:32 <pa_9142> Yeah, the download is surprisingly slow on my end. But I will keep trying. Im looking forward to the new app, keep up the amazing work.
04:56:44 <JohnTHaller> Is your connection usually faster?
04:56:48 <JohnTHaller> You could try another mirror
04:59:54 <pa_9142> It is. I cancelled all the other downloads and it is picking up now.
05:00:24 <pa_9142> Now it is at 5 mins
05:00:46 <Kiriko> pa_9142: what isp service do you have?
05:01:38 <pa_9142> John, I want to ask you directly. I have gotten "yes" or "it should work", but let me ask you. Could I just copy everything from one drive to another and still have the portableapp working?
05:02:12 <pa_9142> Right now, it is all I have on my flashdrive, but I may need to copy everything, including the actual app, to another drive. Would drag and drop work?
05:03:14 <pa_9142> Comcast, as far as I know. (2 mins left)
05:04:20 <Kiriko> wow that is odd that it takes so long
05:04:58 <pa_9142> 1 min left. And yeah, I am pretty sure I just had too many things downloading at once.
05:05:27 <Kiriko> oh ok
05:06:06 <pa_9142> Alright, let me try installing it. If it works, then the the rest should be fine
05:06:19 <pa_9142> Yup. Worked.
05:06:31 <Kiriko> cool
05:06:36 <JohnTHaller> Great
05:07:54 <pa_9142> So John, can I just copy the files, setup information, and application to another drive? Will it work or do I need to reinstall anything?
05:11:04 <JohnTHaller> Sure. If you've run it before, it's best to keep the same relative path (eg X:\PortableApps\AppNamePortable) on both drives.
05:11:24 <JohnTHaller> And you can 'reset' an app just by deleting its Data directory if you ever want to share an app with someone else.
05:13:42 <Kiriko> JohnTHaller: i think you should delete my post frome here http://portableapps.com/node/9580
05:13:42 <pa_9142> Alright. Thanks. Oh, and suggestion... The Skype app is awesome. Unfortunately, having skype on a computer will have the computer blocked from the internet when on campus (university). I have not tried the portable app when I am there, and that might work... but OovoO WILL work on campus and will not have you "quarantined until removal". Do you think having an OovoO portable app is possible?
05:16:44 <JohnTHaller> I'm unfamiliar with it/ You can post it in the Request Apps Forum
05:17:12 <Kiriko> i never heard of them
05:18:19 <pa_9142> Kiriko, you've never heard of OovoO? It is similar to Skype (webcam chatting), and not blocked from colleges. I will put it up on the request apps forum.
05:18:44 <Kiriko> ok
05:18:59 <Kiriko> im in there site right now checking it out
05:20:56 <pa_9142> Also, unlike Skype, it will allow a video conference that allows video. Skype will only allow voice when there is 3 or more people connected at once.
05:21:46 <mrmcpowned> Thatsbecasue skype charges for gruop video now
05:21:53 <mrmcpowned> group*
05:22:24 <Kiriko> OovoO dose to but they allow 3 and no more if you want more than 3 you have to pay
05:22:31 <pa_9142> Lame! I did not know that. I just thought it was a feature they did not have yet.
05:23:53 <Kiriko> here is the information on that http://www.oovoo.com/Buy.aspx

05:31:08 <pa_9142> So how can one directly help with PortableApps?
05:34:57 <JohnTHaller> Spread the word, help test, help get software publishers interested by asking them for portable versions and referring them to our what is a portable app page, donate money, etc
05:37:45 <mrmcpowned> lol, pretty much :D

05:48:22 <Kiriko[Away]> oh cool

06:20:44 <Kiriko> yeah i cant wait for it to be up and running
06:20:47 <Kiriko> XD
06:21:03 <JohnTHaller> I added a big ol chunk of custom code to handle language switching in this one and let users change the language more easily than download and moving files around
06:22:34 <Kiriko> hey why is there "C:\PortableApps\PhotoFiltrePortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher\custom.nsh"
06:22:47 <JohnTHaller> what do you mean?
06:23:21 <Kiriko> this file custom.nsh is in the launcher side
06:23:25 <JohnTHaller> Because I had to add custom code to handle language switching. And in PAL 2.1 that's where it goes.
06:23:37 <Kiriko> oh ok
06:23:40 <Kiriko> now i know
06:24:19 <JohnTHaller> It figures out what language you're in and moves the translation files appropriately. This should serve as a good base for other apps that need it, too.
06:24:46 <Kiriko> yea it will
06:25:25 <Kiriko> we defenetly need new app templates

06:54:20 <Kiriko> thats all you John!
06:54:27 <JohnTHaller> Songbird has custom code (custom launcher) in it that does it. I'm looking into it for another app to handle it as a few lines of custom code in PAL
06:54:45 <taneth111> Ah cool, thanks. I'm working on a MUSHClient Portable
06:54:56 <JohnTHaller> Basically, we use the sqlite3 exeutcable to execute a SQL update statement on a specific table in a databae (file).
06:55:19 <JohnTHaller> I'd like to build it into PAL proper at some point.
06:55:46 <taneth111> Yeah, that was my thoughts but I wasn't sure about whether or not to extract sqlite3.exe to the temp dir or just put it in App\SQLite or something
06:55:47 <JohnTHaller> Songbird uses it. Mixx will use it. I think XMPlay uses it.
06:56:10 <JohnTHaller> App\SQLite since it will be used most of the time
06:57:13 <taneth111> Ah, okay

07:00:18 <JohnTHaller> One app I was just looking at is using sqlite to store settinga
07:00:23 <JohnTHaller> what
07:00:55 <taneth111> Yeah, MUSHClient uses an ini and sqlite for some reason
07:01:07 <Kiriko> https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4510477/PAads/PA_c_Ads.html
07:01:30 <Kiriko> im working on some other ones
07:01:34 <JohnTHaller> heh, cool
07:01:56 <Kiriko> i made some for mrmcpowned
07:02:17 <taneth111> You spelt PortablApps.com wrong and Digial, but it does look pretty cool though :P
07:02:37 <Kiriko> lol
07:03:13 <Kiriko> ah true that
07:03:18 <Kiriko> ill fix it
07:03:32 <Kiriko> but you have an idea of what im going for
07:03:57 <Kiriko> here is the other one made for mrmcpowned https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4510477/SpeedyHost_ads/Leaderboard__728_x_90_.html
07:04:39 <JohnTHaller> Ah I remember SPlayer uses sqlite for random settings like paths. Not songlists mind you, settings/.
07:05:19 <JohnTHaller> Kiriko: You do this for work at all?
07:05:28 <Kiriko> nope
07:05:55 <Kiriko> i do this as a hobby for now but i do plan to get money just not now
07:06:13 <JohnTHaller> Ah, gotta build your book, eh?
07:06:35 <Kiriko> i just started to use this program and i want to learn how to use it before i get paid for it
07:06:43 <Kiriko> yea that is true
07:07:42 <taneth111> Yeah, someday I'm gonna write on a resume "I joined PA.c back before they had hardware dealerships" :P
07:07:57 <Kiriko> XD
07:08:03 <JohnTHaller> With things like this, at least around here. people give you work based on a few things. (1) who you are and how you interact with them (2) who you've worked for in the past and (3) what work you've done that we can look at/
07:08:38 <Kiriko> yea that is why im doing it for free for now
07:08:52 <JohnTHaller> I think as you're working with PA.c, it may be only fair to pick some of your stuff that would work for our new spreadportableapps campaign to help you out with 2 and 3 :)
07:09:19 <Kiriko> XD nice
07:09:21 <Kiriko> thanks
07:09:39 <taneth111> Sounds like a plan :P
07:09:52 <JohnTHaller> We're gonna have something like this: http://www.spreadthunderbird.com/affiliates
07:11:25 <Kiriko> oh that is cool
07:11:58 <taneth111> That does look pretty sweet
07:12:13 <Kiriko> yea!
07:15:20 <Kiriko> you know i always wanted to be a webdesigner but sites like http://www.metamorphozis.com/ made me think about it and i desided not to be a webdesigner
07:15:40 <JohnTHaller> too much going on on one page... ow
07:16:21 <Kiriko> yea i know, but they do offer some nice services
07:17:09 <Kiriko> there free web tool kit that they have witch provides you with so many templates
07:17:20 <Kiriko> you really dont need to go to far
07:20:21 <Kiriko> they even have tutorials for bigginers as well
07:21:23 <Kiriko> i love this template for being a webhoster http://www.templates-preview.com/Dynamic-flash-templates/300110774/
07:22:23 <JohnTHaller> I never recommend flash as a primary interface, especially since a large percentage of devices don't have flash now (ipad, iphone, most androind, blackberry, etc)
07:22:39 <JohnTHaller> not as big a deal in a hosting site. but for a restaurant site, they're gonna lose business
07:23:00 <Kiriko> yeah that is true
07:23:47 <JohnTHaller> we just did that the other day. my buddy couldn't look at flash on his phone. restaurant only had their menu and hours on the site in flash. so he picked another restaurant.
07:23:55 <Kiriko> but also if the restaurant dose its homework the can have there system detct if the visiter is using a mobile device or not
07:24:15 <JohnTHaller> decent amt of homework.
07:24:23 <Kiriko> ah
07:25:27 <JohnTHaller> there are a couple kits that can do it there used to be some for ASP. PHP, /NET etc. Dunno about now, though. I helped maintain one for a company I worked with a while back. ASP-based detection using browser features
07:25:50 <Kiriko> this one is flash aswell but it is verry cool too http://www.templates-preview.com/Dynamic-flash-templates/300110941/
07:27:01 <JohnTHaller> also not a fan of not being able to link to individual pages. Though you may ba able to do that via AJAX and #tags
07:27:55 <Kiriko> if it wasn't for this stupid MCAS http://www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/
07:28:36 <Kiriko> i would have had my deploma but because i did not pass the math part of it i only got a sertificate of attendance
07:28:53 <JohnTHaller> Kiriko: Did I show you the site redesign stuff yet?
07:29:03 <Kiriko> no
07:32:00 <taneth111> For Drupal 7?
07:39:30 <Kiriko> once i get better at making flash banners and all i will have more to add for PA.c
07:41:15 <Kiriko> but just incase im not using adobe flash im using incrditools, IncrediFlash XTreme
07:41:57 <taneth111> adobe flash is really cool and awesome if you know how to use it. I am not one of those people
07:42:29 <Kiriko> I only have version 2.0 http://www.increditools.com/incrediflash_xtreme/index.php
07:42:56 <JohnTHaller> ah fun fun
07:44:36 <Kiriko> its some what simple but im still learning to use it

07:47:03 <taneth111> I'd definitely reccomend learning adobe flash later on though, it
07:47:14 <taneth111> 's pretty powerful even without using ActionScript
07:47:46 <Kiriko> the only problem with adobe is that it is verry expensive
07:48:15 <taneth111> Yeah, if only there was an OSS alternative...
07:49:07 <Kiriko> well there are some free flash tools that you can find but they are not as powerfull and they do not allow redistrybution
07:49:31 <Kiriko> and they don't have as meny fetures
07:50:33 <JohnTHaller> alright... bedtime for me

07:51:03 <taneth111> lol Goodnight John

07:51:46 <Kiriko> oh man
07:52:04 <Kiriko> it had to be someone that knows about the system
07:52:12 <JohnTHaller> yeah, not a big deal

20:58:20 *** benedikt93 has quit (Quit: Bye ;))
20:58:56 <stefan_> also the beta 3 version is not there any more, so I have definately overwritten it
20:59:58 <stefan_> i also have a shortcut on my desktop to open the pa suite, which now opens the beta 5 version
21:00:37 <gluxon> Is the folder "PortableApps.com" in the "PortableApps" folder?
21:01:39 <stefan_> yes, and i also have a portableapps folder
21:02:03 <stefan_> that contains another folder called PortableApps.com

21:02:30 <gluxon> Restart the platform.
21:02:35 <stefan_> the latter has todays date
21:02:46 <stefan_> i try to move it, hang on
21:03:32 <stefan_> i have restared the platform, even my laptop... didnt work
21:04:00 <stefan_> I am going to rename PortableApps.com to OLD_PA
21:04:36 <stefan_> then copy the other up one level, as its in a folder called PorableApps
21:05:27 *** ptmb (~PTMblogge@a79-169-161-157.cpe.netcabo.pt) has joined #portableapps
21:06:47 <stefan_> ok, now it can't start it
21:07:51 <stefan_> I am going to move everything out of my PortableApps folder apart from the actual apps, then reinstall the suite, seems something got twisted...
21:08:07 *** Thasmo has quit ()
21:11:06 <stefan_> no, not working
21:12:42 <stefan_> the .exe is installed to my portableapps folder, lets say to make it easy its c:\pa\StartPortableApps.exe
21:13:11 <gluxon> Don't make it easy, could you give us the full path for where everything is?
21:13:37 <stefan_> the rest ends up in C:\pa\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\...
21:13:51 <stefan_> ok
21:15:16 <stefan_> for both paths I just given you replace "pa" with Users\Stefan\Desktop\Programs\PortableApps
21:15:43 <gluxon> StartPortableApps.exe won't work unless it's in the same directory as "PortableApps"
21:16:07 <stefan_> it is
21:16:36 <stefan_> if it wasn't it would have not overwritten my beta 3, which was working fine
21:17:03 <gluxon> You sure the apps you have installed are in C:\Stefan\Desktop\Programs\PortableApps\PortableApps, right?
21:17:38 <stefan_> sorry no, just one PortableApps
21:18:18 <stefan_> I can show you a screenshot if that helps
21:22:07 <gluxon> Yes, I think that would help :)
21:22:31 <stefan_> on its way onto my server
21:22:59 <stefan_> all taking a little longer with having to manually start my apps...

21:32:02 <stefan_> http://stefanpagel.com/screenshot.2.jpg
21:32:47 <stefan_> second one is clearer as it shows the right path

21:39:09 <pa_7142> hi
21:39:11 <pa_7142> I have a question about account in pa.com. How can i delete tahat account ?
21:39:25 <pa_7142> *that
21:42:21 <gluxon> pa_7142: You have to put a request in the forums to do that.
21:42:40 <gluxon> stefan_: Yeah, the paths for the platform is wrong.
21:43:03 <gluxon> Open up the folder you have checked in the first screen shot.
21:43:20 <pa_7142> ok, thank's a lot.
21:43:23 <gluxon> Copy the "PortableApps.com" folder in there and paste it into the folder above.
21:43:41 <gluxon> So PortableApps.com should be right under PeaZipPortable.
21:44:17 <gluxon> Then copy Autorun.inf and StartPortableApps.exe into the folder above (Programs).
21:44:22 <gluxon> It should work now :)
21:47:08 *** pa_7142 has parted #portableapps (None)
21:48:55 <stefan_> so you're telling me beta 3 worked although it was wrong ? how strange...
21:51:00 <gluxon> Well, I'm not sure what folder structure you had before the upgrade.
21:51:22 <stefan_> so rather than doing what you just said all I need to do is copy all my apps into the folder i checked in screenshot 1 right?
21:51:28 *** ZachThibeau is now known as Zach[AFK]
21:51:31 <gluxon> It's most likely the same path wasn't selected, and an extra "PortableApps" got in there.
21:51:53 <gluxon> stefan_: That would work too, but the other way is faster.
21:52:46 <stefan_> yeah i know but i have an automatic backup for that folder..if i move portableapps.exe it will not be backed up as its one level too high
21:53:55 <gluxon> Okay, so then I guess you have to take the long way. You probably already know this, but move everything ending in "Portable" into the "PortableApps" folder selected in the screenshot.
21:57:10 <stefan_> yes i have done, it is working now
21:57:15 <stefan_> thank you
21:58:38 <stefan_> now i can finally check for updates
21:58:58 <stefan_> i dont use any other programs if I can, just portableapps

22:02:20 <stefan_> i just checked and there is no portableapps.exe anywhere else on my laptop, so the beta3 was overwritten by beta5
22:03:15 <stefan_> and i checked my backup and it is working just fine with beta 3 in that folder
