00:33:16 <Daeger> Is anyone here knowledgeable with hex editing? For this portable app I got I apparently need to patch the byte C3 to 000B7880 to turn off a feature I don't want but I don't understand what that's supposed to mean and google has not been helpful for this question.
00:33:44 <Daeger> I got HxD, the hex editor the guy recommended, and the only thing close to what he said is something called 'insert byte', but no matter how I input the numbers it just ruins the file. I must be doing something wrong.
