01:50:10 <GordCaswell> Hey all. How goes?
01:50:19 <AluisioASG> er… hello
01:50:51 <GordCaswell> Heh. Close enough :)
01:51:09 <JohnTHaller> Gwkki!
01:52:32 <GordCaswell> Ooo...and an exclamation point. Extra points for the added emphasis!
01:54:28 <GordCaswell> Not staying on, just wanted to pop in and say hi.
01:54:55 <JohnTHaller> Gwkki (gwik-kee) interjection. Used to express greeting
01:55:27 <GordCaswell> ha..you should add it to Wikipedia, see if it catches on
01:57:01 <JohnTHaller> GordCaswell: How do you feel about releasing CintaNotes as stable?
02:01:16 <GordCaswell> I'm ok with it. There's no issues that I'm aware of. Note that, as indicated in appinfo, it is a non-commercial use app.
02:01:55 <JohnTHaller> I know, that's fine. I'm actually going to add a field for that in the system so users can exclude them if they want.
02:02:52 <JohnTHaller> Are you portablizing alternate DB and skin selections from outside the CintaNotesPortable directory? http://portableapps.com/node/30556#comment-197766
02:03:32 <JohnTHaller> From the launcher.ini it doesn't seem any paths are being adjusted.
02:04:39 * GordCaswell is investigating
02:05:18 <JohnTHaller> I can add that in for the actual release. It's pretty trivial. cinatnotes.settings contains an entry: notebook.file = C:\PathToFile\DatabaseName.db
02:05:32 <JohnTHaller> I'd wager skins are stored in the same fashion in the same file.
02:07:07 <GordCaswell> Hmm, yeah, I hadn't tackled that yet. If it's a simple fix, may as well add support for both.
02:07:47 <JohnTHaller> Just the usual path portablization. Three FileWriteN Type Replace statements for drive, portableappsbase, and partialpackage
02:08:28 <GordCaswell> I'm working off my phone atm, otherwise I'd throw it together and upload it.
02:09:10 <JohnTHaller> Was debating releasing an app today. Possibly back to 1 a day again. Well, aiming for that without promising it.
02:10:45 <GordCaswell> Sweet. I'm working my way through the "ready" apps, trying to confirm that they are, indeed, ready.
02:11:10 <GordCaswell> BTW, did you get my bugfix email?
02:11:14 <JohnTHaller> That will be a help. I'm going to try and re-form a release team of sorts as well. Try and figure out the proper tools they need.
02:12:18 <JohnTHaller> I did. DB Browser is on the publisher, so we need to poke them to include it (I don't package it). Sunbird I need to get to. The 3rd point is a yes, we'll do it this week.
02:13:10 <GordCaswell> Ok. Wasn't aware DB Browser was a publisher one.

07:43:48 <pa_3601> Hello, i have some big Problem with Thunderbird Portable 16.0.1 (Updated from 15.x). Since i "updated", i get the Error Message before starting: Installation aborted, please close all Processes and try to start TB Portable again. I restartet TB Port. 5 times, nothing better. I tried to delete some *.lock Files in my Data\profiles\ folder, but nothing happens. What can i do?
07:44:43 <pa_3601> i have tried to re-update from 16.0.1 to 16.0.1, but no better Results.
07:45:05 <OliverK> weird
07:45:25 <OliverK> i would suggest posting on the forums - someone there will most certainly have the answer
07:45:30 <pa_3601> Thunderbird Portable starts, but with Error Message before starting and in Thunderbird => About Thunderbird Portable displays "to install 16.0.1 please restart Thunderbird".
07:45:39 <pa_3601> ok oliverK

07:47:05 <pa_3601> i have started the Tread on 12th Oct (friday)
07:47:31 <OliverK> yes, I'm looking at it, and I see the reply that JTH (John T Haller) posted

07:49:03 <OliverK> let me look
07:49:06 <pa_3601> ok
07:49:30 <pa_3601> it is possible to post an error file info from thunderbird?
07:50:00 <pa_3601> an information-error-check.txt file or something to better understand my problems for you?
07:50:06 <OliverK> sure - use http://hastebin.com/
07:50:15 <OliverK> no, I think I know whats going on
07:50:39 <pa_3601> ?
07:50:41 <OliverK> is this using the built in updater for thunderbird or are you using a portableapps.com package?
07:50:55 <pa_3601> hmm
07:51:06 <pa_3601> no no
07:51:18 <pa_3601> i always using the portable apps thunderbird portable update
07:51:26 <OliverK> alright
07:51:47 <pa_3601> i know, thunderbird "normal" do make error and aborting with some problems between TB and TB Port.
07:52:35 <pa_3601> i always download the update packages at portableapps and upgrad my portable tb, in-build-updates i have deactivated.
07:52:41 <OliverK> right
07:52:44 <pa_3601> ok
