14:58:15 <Gizmokid2005> m3b: there usually is. Most are idling. Just ask your question and if someone knows they'll answer.
15:02:22 <m3b> i've been up for a long long time lemme but it in officewriter outta respect for you;
15:02:27 <m3b> one sec
15:38:48 <m3b> OK with OpenOffice; the only thing I don't like is the time it takes to load numerous extensions, I've searched for a way around, doing one by one but I haven't came up with anything yet.
15:39:13 <m3b> 1 of 3 Questions...
15:41:11 <m3b> Also with OpenOffice I cannot figure out WTF JportableLauncher works with OpenOffice; I know there's a directory named like common-file's or something of that nature; but I can't get the two to talk =( I've researched on Google to some existent

20:10:02 <m3b> Also with OpenOffice I cannot figure out WTF JportableLauncher works with OpenOffice; I know there's a directory named like common-file's or something of that nature; but I can't get the two to talk =( I've researched on Google to some existent
20:27:59 <JohnTHaller> jPortable works with OpenOffice. jPortable Launcher is different. Though I don't know if jPortable works with the older OpenOffice Portable version. We recommend LibreOffice. It's OpenOffice plus lots of additional features and functionality. Better supported. More developers.
20:38:24 <m3b> heh can I make a joke joke
20:38:45 <m3b> does LibreOffice allow you to import more than one book mark @ a time LoL
20:41:04 <JohnTHaller> Not sure what you mean. Why would you import a bookmark?
20:41:52 <m3b> err shit i mean a plug in; i'm sorry sir i've been up far to long try to get my life straight
20:41:54 <m3b> lol
20:42:26 <JohnTHaller> I think you can use multiple plugins at once. I've never had need to use a plugin with LO though
20:42:28 <m3b> i've got two more questions that I'm stumped on... I'm a I.T. Guy but still learning the ways of the Flash Drive
20:46:24 <m3b> btw kind sir do you happen to know if LibreOffice reads .odt & .ods documents from OpenOffice I'm sure it does; then I'll ask my other two questions
20:47:03 <JohnTHaller> Of course. LO is what OO became after most of the devs quit OO. Think of it as OpenOffice++
20:55:25 <m3b> since yer being radd I'll ask my other questions
20:55:41 <m3b> Then with the Portable File Association program Coffee; I can't seem to make it keep it's settings... So now I am forced to go into my USB Flash Drive create shortcut's of my apps; and put them in the 'Send To' menu when you right click.
20:56:14 <m3b> i read on portableapps.com that Coffee was the only portable application handler launcer that worked with windows 7 64X
20:56:52 <JohnTHaller> eXpresso is the latest version of that app
20:57:44 <m3b> that would explain it
20:59:06 <m3b> one more thing know of any programs that would automatically syncronize my main 128GB flash drive to a hard drive; as well as to one or to other flash drives
20:59:50 <JohnTHaller> Sync section of the app directory has a few. FreeFileSync seems to be the current favorite
21:00:50 <m3b> there's a program that I've toyed around with yes I use that; just wasn't sure of multiple drives at once
21:01:10 <m3b> I do like the fact that you can make a .bat and schedule it around your like
21:01:19 <m3b> I LOVE USB FLASH DRIVE's ONLY WAY TO GO
21:16:43 <m3b> dude you rock; mind exchanging emails
